Welcome...

I'm a freshman. I made this blog to show my journey through highschool. A lot of people experience it differently. I created this to show others what it's like for a regular, real-life teen. It's basically like an online diary, but public. I will not share my name, but I use my friend's first names to make reading this easier. This blog will last through the end of my senior year.

First, Second, & Third Days of School:)

   Holaaa!(:
So this is the first time in 3 days that I've been able to post. I could describe everything that happened in extreme detail, or I couldn't. And I won't. So here I go.

DAY ONE:

Okay. So everyone's in the cafeteria waiting for the passing period, and all us freshmen were thinking we'd have to stay in the cafeteria so they could tell us everything we had to do. But nooo. The bell rang, and everyone instantly started crowding the doors. Luckily my sophmore friend was close, so I asked her what we're supposed to do. Go to first period. So I get out my schedule and my map of the school and tried to find it. She helped me find it, otherwise I would have been totally lost. Even with my map. So basically it was just regular schedule the whole day. Then after school I had to go to the counselor to get my schedule changed because they put me in the wrong art and didn't fix it.
I got it fixed in about 5 minutes, then my mom drove me and Emily to her house, and I stayed there till about 5:30. Around 5:45 my dad came home and we went supply shopping. That's right. We don't get a list for everything we need until school has already started. We got home around 7:30, ate supper, then I got my stuff together for school. Then I had a whole envelope of papers to get signed, so I signed where I needed to then handed everything to my dad. He worked on that till about 11. Yeah. 11 pm. Then I had to sign other things that I missed, take a shower, get my outfit picked out and get the rest of my stuff together. I got to bed around 12:30. I was sooo tired.

DAY TWO:

Same thing today. Every class we played those stupid "Get to know each other" games. Everyone already knows everyone and no one cares about one thing about one person. No one. Spanish was the only class we didn't do that. Instead, we did work. Which I was okay with. I didn't feel like I was in kindergarden. Nothing much happened on Tuesday, so I'll stop here.

DAY THREE:

Today was the same thing, pretty much. In my BIM class I was finally able to log on to a computer. I couldn't before because my social security # wasn't in the school system. So I had to get a passcode to let me change my password. Then in Spanish we had our first assignment. I'm starting to understand some of what the teacher is saying. Oh, by the way, she doesn't talk to us in english. She talks to us in español. Haha. So there was a page full of Spanish vocab with the english beside it. Our homework is to right each one three times. Most of them were phrases, not actual words. And that's all I need to say about today.... nothing else interesting. OH, WAIT, just kidding. Remember my crush, Austin? Yeah. His locker is about 6 over from mine. WOOO. ;)

Quinceañera!

     HEY. YOU. :D
Okay. So I have a friend named Silvia, and she's having a Quinceañera in October. I guess you start planning these things really early, because it was back in April when she was picking The 13. I don't know much about Quinceañeras, but there's 13 girls that are like bridesmaids. So she picked these a long time ago.
Last Sunday on Facebook Silvia posted on my Wall saying, "Hey this is kinda out of the blue, but do you wanna be a part of my Quinceanera?" I was like "OMG YES!" Haha. I guess one of the 13 backed out.

Tuesday me and my mom went to her house to try on my dress and buy it. She went and got it for me and showed me the bathroom. I changed into it, and yes, took pictures. Then I walked back into the living room to show everyone. It fit perfectly:)

I was sooooo excited, but then I had to find the perfect shoes for it. Which I did:) Anyway, since I'm one of the 13, we have to perform a waltz or something. With a partner. Boy partner. The first rehearsal is in 7 days, I'm kinda worried too. I don't know who any of the guys are, and my partner has to be someone about my height so the dance will work.

My best friends Emily and Necole are in the 13 too, but they already have their partners. Emily's partner is her boyfriend Dakotah and Necole's is our friend Jeremy. And I guess that's it about that, I just thought I should share. :)

Smoothie!

    Hey!
So I made a smoothie yesterday-- Strawberry Banana. I know, like the ones from McDonald's, but I didn't have to spend $3 on it ;)

Here's my recipe, and it makes about 2 and one fifth servings:)

Strawberry Banana Fruit Smoothie
-15 strawberries
-2 bananas
-4 tsp of sugar
-1/2 cup of milk
-1 cup of ice

If you want more of a banana flavor than strawberry add 1 more banana. If you want more of a strawberry flavor, I'd say add about 4 or 5. Depends on the size too, I used strawberries that were kind of small, about the size of a golf ball I think. And if you want more 3 servings, use 3 bananas; 4 servings, 4 bananas, and so on. For each banana add about 7 strawberries. But remember, I'm saying 7 because I used the small ones. Hope you love it:)

Lubbock, Texas!!

      Holaa:)
So I don't know if I told you guys, but my friend Madie moved to Lubbock. This last Sunday I went to visit her. Her sister picked me up and picked Madie up from a slumber party and then we took the loooong 4 hour drive to Lubbock. I got back today around 3:00.

Sunday all we did was chilll at her house and see her sister's apartment. Kind of a boring day. Monday we went shopping at 2:30 and got back at 4:00. Didn't take long for me to spend all that was left on my debit card, but I got 3 shirts, a skirt, and a necklace for only $70. Mom was so proud;). Then we ate at Cheddar's for supper, then went to Main Event. It was like Monday Madness or something so we got unlimited Laser Tag and Glow Golf for only $10 each. It was so fun:) We were all on Red Team, and we totally dominated. Then we played Glow Gulf and the only good thing I got was a hole in one. The rest of mine sucked...

Tuesday my mom drove up so she could bring me home Wednesday morning for my brother's birthday. She got there around 2:45. Then Madie thought it'd be fun to walk to Walmart which was like.... probably around 1-2 miles from their house. It wasn't exactly fun. After that we walked somewhat straight to her house. We found a little thing that drains the water from the parking lot to the street about 300 feet away, which was the edge of her neighborhood, so we took that "shortcut." Then the were walking up the hill, where there was some road contruction, and all the sudden she turns onto this street thats about 5 streets away from hers. I don't know why we couldn't just take the street right before hers. Since she was 6 feet ahead of me (my walk slowed because I was texting my friends back home), she was basically leading the way.

We were walking on a sidewalk, and this white business van and a truck stopped at the Stop sign we just passed. Both vehicles had a business logo on them. I didn't care to read it, but then Madie was like, "HEY! That's the guy that built our house!" (I didn't understand this; the only house that's been built for them was the one back home, not the one here.) "Let's hitch a ride with him!" By then I was so mad I just shouted, "NO. We don't know him, and we're not getting in his van." She replied, "No, he's old, and nice! I've hitched a ride with him before!" I said, "NO! I'm not getting a ride with him, I don't know him, and I wouldn't trust the guy that built my house, no matter how old or nice he is. Besides, he's already halfway down the street." That shut her up.

We were about 5 minutes walking distance from her house, so I let her get way ahead of me. We were in the alley, and she walked through her gate and let it close on me. I was about ten feet behind her. I opened it and saw her walking through her backdoor. Closed that too. I'm sure I had this look on my face that showed I was super annoyed. And super sweaty.

Once we were inside with sweet, sweet air confidtioning, all the anger was gone. The heat gets me kinda fiesty.

For supper, her mom made crock-pot chicken and white rice. It was sooo good:) After that, we went to Joyland-an amusment park for the easily nauseous. It looked kind of ghetto, actually. Our moms dropped us off there for about 2 hours while they looked around the Tech campus. The first ride me rode was a very mini roller coaster called Mad Mouse. It was horrible. It jerked you around and wobbled alot. I felt like I was going to be flung off of it.

After that one, we were scared out of our wits, so we rode rides that weren't as scary...

We walked around and found a water ride. You get in a log and basically get splashed. A lot. We rode that ride once and went to ride some other rides. It was about 9:00 then so we decided to spend the last 15 minutes in the water ride (called the Wild River). There was no line so we just rode it over and over and over... It was sooo fun. We left Joyland SOAKED.

After we got home, showered, and got in warm, dry clothes we just did stuff on our computers. Then we played midnight volleyball in the backyard, and then went to bed.

The next morning my mom woke me up so we could leave early. I packed all my stuff up, got dressed to go, and tried to wake Madie up, but I couldn't. She is the heaviest sleeper I've ever known. So I let her sleep, thinking her mom would wake her up. My mom, Madie's mom, and me all talked for a few minutes, then we left. I was glad to go home.

So that's pretty much covering everything. I'mma go now. Bye:)

FISH CAMP! :D

         Hey:)
So. Thursday was Fish Camp. It was somewhat fun;) I'm super excited for hot guys! I saw a bunch today!!! I got my schedule, and the only thing they got wrong is Art. I'm supposed to be in 2D Art 2, which is drawing and painting at the 2nd like, level thing. Anyway. They put me in 3D Art 2. Sculpting and Ceramics. And everyone knows I can't sculpt worth a CRAP. So my mom said Monday we're gonna go to the couselor and fix it, but I won't be here Monday. I'm leaving for Lubbock on Sunday.

I gotta tell you how they organized us-- Since it's Fish Camp, they put everyone in random groups with names of fish as the group name. Mine? Groupers. Which was kind of ironic. Because we didn't look much like a group... More like a bunch of random kids that are just standing together. Awkwaaard.

Anyways, the first thing we did at Fish Camp was Tug-Of-War. Our group was first against some other group. We won:) So when we played again after a while, we were totally pwned. I mean I almost FELL. It was INTENSE. Then what happened? The rope broke. Great. Everyone fell that time, it was awesome.

We got back to the Auditorium and the guy preachin' to us goes, "You guys are the best Freshman bunch. This is the first time in Fish Camp history, that you've broken the rope." Everyone like.... cheered. It was cool.

Remember in my last post, I was sooo excited just to see Austin? HAHA, he's on crutches... poor thing. Anyway. Then we did this awkward tour of the school with our crappy team leaders. They were both stuck-up cheerleaders. And my mom happens to be friends with their moms. Yaaaaay.

Then, after that we played this random and weird group game... I dunno what it was called. But if they said "Horse," you have to jump on someone's back. If they say "Knight," you sit on their leg. If they say "Cavalier," you have to jump in their arms. Last person to do it was out. So me and my partner purposely got out so we could text our friends who we knew had purposely gotten out too. It was great.

THEN, we went back to the Auditorium, and watched the Fashion Show, which just showed what the dress code was. We all know that all the preps are gonna break it and get away with it.

And theeeenn... we had a scavenger hunt. Our group didn't really care about winning. Our team leaders had no idea where anything was so we just followed other groups around trying to not be too conspicuous... If they noticed we just started following some other group. Fun times....

OH, I forgot to say, we got free t-shirts. It says Stephenville High School Fish Camp. Cool. Anyways, I think that's about it, so I'm gonna go and I probably won't post again until school starts. Unless something happens. ;)
           Tahh tahh:)

PS. -- I got CiCi's Pizza fer supper tonight. WITH THE BROWNIES. Don't we all love those little suckers? Me and Emily had a powder fight. It was fun. OHH; and I like the way you watch tv. KTHXBYE.

Firstt ;

    This is my first blog:)
I spent about 2 days setting it up. Making it pretty. Junk like that. Thursday is Fish Camp, can't wait to see everyone!!:)

Anyways, yesterday I got my debit card. The background is purple bubbles:D My dad puts in $100 each month for me to spend on mainly clothes, and anything else I wanna spend it on. Today we activated it. I'm soo excited and can't wait to use it!!:D

So I don't have much to say today. Tomorrow I'm going to a birthday party, bowling!:) I'll probably use my card then. I'm also going to the best friend's house tomorrow. Her name is Emily, and she's just as queer as me:) We're both going to the party and I'm gonna spend the night, then we're going to Fish Camp the next day. I can't wait to see Austin too! I've crushed on him since... 7th grade. Haha. I've hardly even talked to him. Sad, right? Yeah. And all the newbies coming into highschool? I hope they're all tall, hot guys. ;D

And the Sophmores, Juniors, Seniors... Highschool's gonna be GREAT. See, I'm boy CRAZY.

Anyhoooo, I think that's enough for now, because I have nothing else to say...
               So, bye!(:
