Holaa:)
So I don't know if I told you guys, but my friend Madie moved to Lubbock. This last Sunday I went to visit her. Her sister picked me up and picked Madie up from a slumber party and then we took the loooong 4 hour drive to Lubbock. I got back today around 3:00.
Sunday all we did was chilll at her house and see her sister's apartment. Kind of a boring day. Monday we went shopping at 2:30 and got back at 4:00. Didn't take long for me to spend all that was left on my debit card, but I got 3 shirts, a skirt, and a necklace for only $70. Mom was so proud;). Then we ate at Cheddar's for supper, then went to Main Event. It was like Monday Madness or something so we got unlimited Laser Tag and Glow Golf for only $10 each. It was so fun:) We were all on Red Team, and we totally dominated. Then we played Glow Gulf and the only good thing I got was a hole in one. The rest of mine sucked...
Tuesday my mom drove up so she could bring me home Wednesday morning for my brother's birthday. She got there around 2:45. Then Madie thought it'd be fun to walk to Walmart which was like.... probably around 1-2 miles from their house. It wasn't exactly fun. After that we walked somewhat straight to her house. We found a little thing that drains the water from the parking lot to the street about 300 feet away, which was the edge of her neighborhood, so we took that "shortcut." Then the were walking up the hill, where there was some road contruction, and all the sudden she turns onto this street thats about 5 streets away from hers. I don't know why we couldn't just take the street right before hers. Since she was 6 feet ahead of me (my walk slowed because I was texting my friends back home), she was basically leading the way.
We were walking on a sidewalk, and this white business van and a truck stopped at the Stop sign we just passed. Both vehicles had a business logo on them. I didn't care to read it, but then Madie was like, "HEY! That's the guy that built our house!" (I didn't understand this; the only house that's been built for them was the one back home, not the one here.) "Let's hitch a ride with him!" By then I was so mad I just shouted, "NO. We don't know him, and we're not getting in his van." She replied, "No, he's old, and nice! I've hitched a ride with him before!" I said, "NO! I'm not getting a ride with him, I don't know him, and I wouldn't trust the guy that built my house, no matter how old or nice he is. Besides, he's already halfway down the street." That shut her up.
We were about 5 minutes walking distance from her house, so I let her get way ahead of me. We were in the alley, and she walked through her gate and let it close on me. I was about ten feet behind her. I opened it and saw her walking through her backdoor. Closed that too. I'm sure I had this look on my face that showed I was super annoyed. And super sweaty.
Once we were inside with sweet, sweet air confidtioning, all the anger was gone. The heat gets me kinda fiesty.
For supper, her mom made crock-pot chicken and white rice. It was sooo good:) After that, we went to Joyland-an amusment park for the easily nauseous. It looked kind of ghetto, actually. Our moms dropped us off there for about 2 hours while they looked around the Tech campus. The first ride me rode was a very mini roller coaster called Mad Mouse. It was horrible. It jerked you around and wobbled alot. I felt like I was going to be flung off of it.
After that one, we were scared out of our wits, so we rode rides that weren't as scary...
We walked around and found a water ride. You get in a log and basically get splashed. A lot. We rode that ride once and went to ride some other rides. It was about 9:00 then so we decided to spend the last 15 minutes in the water ride (called the Wild River). There was no line so we just rode it over and over and over... It was sooo fun. We left Joyland SOAKED.
After we got home, showered, and got in warm, dry clothes we just did stuff on our computers. Then we played midnight volleyball in the backyard, and then went to bed.
The next morning my mom woke me up so we could leave early. I packed all my stuff up, got dressed to go, and tried to wake Madie up, but I couldn't. She is the heaviest sleeper I've ever known. So I let her sleep, thinking her mom would wake her up. My mom, Madie's mom, and me all talked for a few minutes, then we left. I was glad to go home.
So that's pretty much covering everything. I'mma go now. Bye:)

Welcome...
I'm a freshman. I made this blog to show my journey through highschool. A lot of people experience it differently. I created this to show others what it's like for a regular, real-life teen. It's basically like an online diary, but public. I will not share my name, but I use my friend's first names to make reading this easier. This blog will last through the end of my senior year.
